We stayed in one of the resort’s luxurious Pool Suites featuring a sleek design and maximum comfort. We entered our pool suite to be greeted by this… What a lovely welcome!

The bedroom has a supremely comfortable king bed overlooking the pool with two balconies, day bed, outdoor bathtub and separate living area all of which feels very spacious and relaxing in the 90sqm suite. All the features are designed to indulge today’s stylish traveller.

We soaked up the sunshine poolside and for some private time away from the midday sun, we recommend booking one of the exclusive cabanas for some welcome cool shade and some even more welcome chilled Bintang beer and tasty snacks.

Entertainment is also provided at The Pool Bar from the Resident DJ with jazzy saxophone and acoustic music also on offer in addition to rindik and the traditional spectacle of the Balinese Fire Dance in the evenings.

We enjoyed a wonderful couples massage as an decadent signature treatment at the spa.
Following your well-deserved Me Time, re-connect with your other half at one of The Stones three innovative on-site restaurants, including authentic Indonesian cuisine at The Long Rice Table where traditional dishes are served in a vibrant atmosphere with modern Balinese-inspired design making it a great place to indulge in the traditions of Indonesia. The restaurant gets its name from the traditional Dutch-Indonesian Rijsttafel served there where indigenous sampler dishes take centre stage as the house speciality.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Big Fish Bar & Grill – the hotel’s al fresco restaurant where you can enjoy the wonderful balmy evenings of Bali with daily market fresh seafood specialities on offer for dinner in addition to the Chef’s selection of prime Australian Beef cooked on the Lava Stone Grill. Drinks are just as tempting as the food with The Stones Wine Guru (we love that name for the Head Sommelier) and the hotel’s talented mixologists on hand to assist you in pairing the definitive drink with your delectable dinner.
To start our meal we enjoyed a delicious seafood appetizer which was garnished in contemporary style.
Next up was some traditional satay with more succulent Balinese seafood and the classic serving of fried egg on rice.
Then it was time for the main event – a delicious steak served with chunky chips and delicate stems of asparagus.

Lighter healthier food options are available during the lunch service at Big Fish and breakfast is served at Stones Kitchen contemporary eatery which The Stones has designed as an all day dining destination serving a variety of popular menu options including the sumptuous breakfast buffet. We also recommend trying the indulgent in-room dining breakfast experience called “Breakfast in The Tub” for an even more special way to start the day.
